People and Culture Advisor – Hanes Brands | Pyrmont

We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Advisor to join our team and provide generalist People & Culture support across Bonds, Bras N Things and Sheridan Merchandise & Brand functions in both Sydney and Melbourne. This is a true business partnership role as the expert providing invaluable advice, coaching and support to our wonderful leaders, whilst effectively implanting our people strategy and initiatives delivering on key P&C projects to maximising team and business performance. Reporting to the Senior People & Culture Manager, key areas of ownership in the role include team engagement, talent attraction and retention, people development, succession planning and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership Support and Employee Relations: Advise and support leaders on employee matters such as performance development and management, organisational design and change management. Monitor and advise on key legislative and other relevant change. Where required lead investigations and dispute resolution processes including managing employment related claims.
- Learn & Grow Initiatives: Assist with the delivery of internal training initiatives, coach managers on people leadership skills, and support the development of new learning initiatives.
- Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Collaborating with the Health & Wellbeing team on all wellbeing initiatives and supporting the injury management process.
- Reporting & Administration: Manage employment workflows, monthly reporting and training compliance
What experience do I have?
You'll be self-motivated, resilient and a thoughtful influencer, who enjoys change and can provide a fresh approach and way of thinking.
Ideally you will have:
- +3 years generalist HR experience with a commercial mindset
- A passion for influencing positive people outcomes through coaching and mentoring to drive performance growth and people development
- Extremely high attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
- Advanced PC Skills including Excel & Word, with a highly analytical mind
- Adaptability, initiative, and great communication skills
