Senior ER Advisor | Truganina
We have great opportunity for a Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our small People and Culture team at our world-class distribution Centre in Truganina. Reporting to the Senior People & Culture Manager, you will be a subject matter expert for ER and IR matters and will play an active role in ensuring the compliance of employment legislation, EBA, Awards, Contracts of employment, internal policies and procedures. You will be working with internal & external stakeholders ranging from our labour workforce, DC Management team, union and our onsite People and Culture Advisor to drive the full range of HR Deliverable including employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives.
What will I be doing?
- Manage ongoing relationships with internal and external stakeholders including employee representatives (Union)
- Monitor and advise on key legislative laws and other relevant changes
- Ensuring the development and delivery of the P&C Strategies and plans to support the DC
- Employee Relations case management (Performance, disciplinary, complaint handling, employment-related investigations)
- Ensure that Managers & Supervisors have the required skill set to deliver workplace change and business improvement.
- Coach and build manager & supervisor knowledge of key P&C policies, processes to ensure standards are met.
- Support culture and engagement initiatives, succession planning of talent and delivering training
What experience/skills do I have?
- Degree qualification in Human Resources or related field
- Experience in Employee Relations/Industry Relations in a related field such as Logistics and Manufacturing.
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate to achieve business outcomes
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to adapt and pivot between day to day tasks with longer term strategic projects
- Experience working with Unions in an industrial environment
- Experience working with Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
