Quality Assurance Coordinator | Sheridan | Pyrmont/Kew
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the Sheridan Team.
The role of our QA Coordinator is to manage all aspects of quality assurance to ensure that all products comply with Sheridan brand, legal, safety and end customer quality requirements.
This role is to be based in either Pyrmont (Sydney) Or Kew (Melbourne) Head offices
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring quality manuals are up to date with legal requirements, in line with product ranges that are user friendly.
- Ensure all team members and vendors are clearly trained on all quality standards/processes.
- Ensure all products meet appropriate legal, quality and safety standards.
- Identification of styles during development process which may be a potential risk, raw material selection, construction or colour selection and lead successful product evaluations, ensuring actions are taken & decisions are made to mitigate risk.
- Regular DC & store visits , competitor shops, review of social media ,interaction with customer service, retail team to understand customer perception , brand health , and areas for improvement
- Timely investigation & resolution of bulk quality issues/consumer complaints including recommendation of action, claim resolution & problem solving with countermeasures being identified to avoid re occurrence.
- Identify areas for process improvement and work with teams to implement further strategies.
- Building strong relationships with category teams and retailer QA departments.
What experience do I have?
- Tertiary Qualifications in a textile related course
- Minimum 5 years experience in a home apparel or textile manaufacturing
- Knowledge & understanding of home textiles and garment construction.
- Experience with managing and implementing business processes.
- Efficient with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to adapt and work in a team environment
