Join the Hanes Australasia Truganina Distribution Centre family and immerse yourself in a world of innovation and camaraderie at our fulfillment center in Truganina, Melbourne. We are currently looking for Team Leaders to join the team at our Truganina Distribution Centre in VIC. We are looking for Team Leaders who can work across Day, Afternoon and Evening shifts across a Monday-Friday work week. Please note these roles are permanent and on-going with RDOs.
This role will include:
- Maintaining a safe working environment by demonstrating themselves & leading all team members on site to follow safety rules, guidelines & work practices.
- Being able to perform as well as coordinate others in all section functions with a positive approach that builds team morale.
- Coordinating and performing training to equip team members to be able to work safely, produce quality outcomes and achieve productivity KPI's.
- Perform workforce planning & workflow management activities to ensure our teams are fully utilised & productive.
- Raising safety related information in HIIQA and assist in coordinating / participate in OHS investigations and audits.
- Flagging and escalating concerns, be they behavioural, safety or in breach Company policies or procedures.
What experience do I have?
- Strong commitment to Safety, Quality & upholding the Code of Conduct
- Excellent people skills, with a proactive & positive approach to building morale
- Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks for your team to ensure service levels are achieved
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and basic computer literacy skills
- Ability to meet psychical requirements of the role
- Can stay calm under pressure with a problem solving/solutions mindset
- Positive, enthusiastic and willing to support your team when they have questions/or need support
