We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Analyst to join the team at our Support Centre Kew Head office, working on Level 2 and Level 3 Support. Reporting into the Infrastructure Manager, this role will see you providing a wide range of technical assistance to users of distributed systems, including our retail support network and infrastructure teams. You will be providing day to day operational support and will be working on projects that will develop and deploy new infrastructure services within the business.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Provide specialist technical knowledge to employees within the business
- Assist in new equipment configuration and infrastructure setups.
- Resolve assigned helpdesk calls, within time targets by providing end users with information on systems
- Prepare technical documentation as required
- Assigned project support work to approved function points within agreed timeframes
- Pro-actively contribute to process improvement activities by investigating new procedures and processes to enhance capabilities of core functions
Ideally you have:
- Up to two years experience in a technical support role, with exposure in working within a help desk environment
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft products, networking and system administration, with advanced diagnostic and problem solving skills
- A previous background working with Cisco networking products or qualification/certification or an affiliation to systems and IT
- A strong customer service orientation, with the ability to organize and prioritize workload and projects
- Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external customers
