ASSISTANT PRODUCT MANAGER | CHAMPION | KEW, MELBOURNE
We are looking for an all-round awesome Assistant Product Manager to join us on a permanent, full time basis!
Your role will be supporting our Product Manager in the development of seasonal range assortments and in the execution of product plans across the Athletic category for the Champion brand. Your key objective is the delivery of a highly commercial and profitable product range through effective product lifecycle management, quarterly reviews, range planning and sell through analysis.
What's the role?
- Supporting and coordinating all activities relating to the seasonal range development, including close collaboration with our US, Europe, Asia and local product and design teams.
- Entering and maintaining all seasonal feasibility (buy plan) documents, including pricing customer segmentation and article set up ensuring 100% data integrity
- Briefing and managing all packaging requirements in line with the brand and range plans
- Generating and maintaining seasonal option plan documents
- Assisting in preparing and presenting quarterly reviews, range assortment plans, internal range presentations and stock management support
- Providing standardised reports and analytical support to aid in decision making
- Participating in market research and analysis on ever-changing trends and industry conditions
- Organising samples for retailer presentations
What are we looking for?
- A genuine passion for streetwear, athletic apparel, youth culture and being a true brand ambassador for the Champion brand!
- Experience in product development, planning or buying, ideally within the retail/apparel/fashion industry
- Organisation and ability to multi-task
- You are naturally analytical and love working in Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective communication across a broad stakeholder group will ensure success in this role – you are confident and practical, able to build and foster strong working relationships and influence stakeholders
