GRAPHIC DESIGN MANAGER | BRAS N THINGS | PYRMONT, SYDNEY
We have an exciting and newly created opportunity for a Graphic Design Manager to join our Marketing team! We are looking for an experienced, innovative, and creative mentor who can lead the way in bringing our brand to life through the development of both digital and printed assets for our Bras N Things network!
Reporting into our Head Of Marketing, you will lead a team of 3 Designers, overseeing creative output to ensure consistency in brand representation. Your responsibilities will be ensuring that work from the team is fresh, engaging and always ‘on-brief'. A combination of new idea / concept generation, plus adaption of existing artwork is required in this role, and the team will benefit from mentorship on new concept generations, particularly digitally focused campaigns.
Your role is split between people leadership and being on the tools, where you will lead by example and support your team in developing amazing graphic design work that drives engagement and attracts our Bras N Things customer!
What's the role?
- Oversee direct reports to autonomously run their respective areas, with support and guidance from you as needed
- Mange creative brief process from concept to development and faciliate traffic management of graphic design workflow
- Drive development and upskilling for the team – set culture, lead by example, and educate on new project briefings and graphic design innovations
- Attend meetings with key internal stakeholders from Marketing, Ecomm and Product to understand creative direction, seasonal launches, and campaigns to determine Graphic Design strategy
- Oversee and implement process to track projects and workflow for the team
- Support in producing a range of design work for In-store print and POS collateral, EDM and website content, packaging artwork and media advertising assets
- Represent Design & Content Production team in key projects and tenders across the business as required
What experience you can bring to us?
- Experience managing a multi-skillset graphic design team in a highly creative fast-paced agency or in-house environment
- Proven success in both upskilling & developing team members and ensuring creative consistency is being delivered
- Expert knowledge of project management tools, resource planning and digital asset management with experience building processes for scale as volume increases
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and demonstrated experience liaising with a range of internal departments and external suppliers to negotiate timeframes and business priorities
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Passion for Graphic Design and the Design process
