This role will be supporting our Sheridan business. Sheridan has been creating premium quality home and lifestyle products for over 50 years, loved as an icon of distinctly Australian style. Devoted to quality, craftsmanship and artistry, every piece has been expertly crafted to the highest quality standards by our in-house team of artists and designers in the Sydney Design Studio.
A bit about the role..
Reporting into our Head of Continuous Improvement, Hanes Australasia, we have an exciting and newly created position available for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager. As CI Manager you will be responsible for leading the implementation of the continuous improvement transformational change across the business. While part of and support by the Hanes Australasia CI team, your initial focus will be promoting a continuous improvement culture across our Sheridan business unit.
To achieve this, you will build CI Capability while implementing strategic change improvement opportunities, to elevate both cultural and operational performance across our functions. This role will deliver on improving performance resulting from Lean / Operational Excellence projects, aligned with business strategy.
This role will not only develop and implement strategic projects, but mentor our functional leadership teams as well as project teams, to ensure they can maintain the outcomes. You will be part of highly respected lean community, which has a proven history of cultural change. Using a Hanes common lean approach, sustainable best practice model and tool-kit, this role will grow Hanes Australasia's CI Capability and Maturity.

Creating the fabric of a better life for people and the planet
As a COVID 19 safe environment we have broken our Sydney team into two, one team will come into the office on Monday and Tuesday and the other team will come in on Thursday and Friday. No one will be in the office on a Wednesday and during the weekend, in order to do a deep cleanse. In these unusual times we are loving staying connected with each other via MS teams.
